Is my donation tax-deductible?

ReachABLE has filed for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Once the IRS issues a determination letter, donations received from that date are tax-deductible. Every donation generates an automated tax receipt sent to your email within a few minutes. Until the determination is issued, receipts note the pending status. Consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.

Where does my money actually go?

Roughly 80 percent to team salaries (project director, engineers, community lead), 8 percent to Stripe processing fees, 4 percent to hosting and tooling, 8 percent to legal, insurance, and Advisory Group compensation. Zero to executive bonuses.

What if I cannot afford to donate?

Then do not. Every tool on this site is free for you today and stays free forever regardless of donation status. The ask is voluntary because that is the only ethical model for the population we serve. If ReachABLE helped you, tell a friend who might also need it. Word of mouth is worth more than a small donation.

Can I cancel a monthly gift?

Anytime. There is a one-click cancel link in the receipt email you get every month. No customer service call required. No account required.

Do you accept corporate matches or larger gifts?

Yes. Corporate matches, foundation grants, and larger individual gifts run through Northwestern University Advancement. Reach us at partners@joinreachable.com and we'll route the paperwork.

Is Stripe secure?

Yes. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, which is the highest level of card-data compliance. ReachABLE never sees your card number. Your name and email are stored only for your tax receipt.
